Stunning Aerials

Several years ago I was thumbing through an issue of National Geographic and I came across an article featuring two researchers studying lions in Africa. They noticed that the cats' behaviors changed when their presence was detected so they turned to utilizing a small remote-controlled drone to eavesdrop on the cats from above. I though this was super cool and that led me down a very nerdy path to building my first drone. While my use may have been a bit less scientific, it provided another tool in my camera bag for obtaining different perspectives of the world around me.
