Fine Art Photo Giveaway
Hello friends!
To celebrate the launch of my new art gallery website I'm giving away a 24" x 16" fine art metal print of one of my favorite images - "Los Carneros Aerial".
This image symbolizes so many of the amazing characteristics of the Carneros appellation. This wonderful wine grape growing region straddles both Napa and Sonoma Counties in Northern California. Its proximity to the cool fog and breezes from the San Pablo Bay makes the climate in Los Carneros cooler and more moderate than the wine regions farther north in Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley. This cooler climate makes Carneros attractive for growing cooler climate wine grape varietals like Pinot noir and Chardonnay, and many of the grapes grown in Carneros are also used for sparkling wine production.
What I love most in this region are the rolling hills and how the low angled sunlight plays on the hilltops. Thanks to the late afternoon breezes coming off the bay the clouds take on delicate wispy shapes. These breezes also make for challenging flights, but when all the elements line up perfectly, well, a photo like this comes along :)
